Winter Meltdown coming to Southern New Mexico Speedway

Southern New Mexico SpeedwayLas Cruces, NM — The Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico is once again ready to put on one of the biggest Open Wheel Modifieds races in North America with the 3rd annual $10,000 to win, $1,250 to start DIRTcar Winter Meltdown and Chub Daniels Memorial on March 5th-8th.

The Winter Meltdown and Chub Daniels Memorial will for the first time be nationally sanctioned under the new DIRTcar West Open Wheel Modified Series. Formerly the Border Racing Association, the new DIRTcar West Modifieds Series will see the fastest drives in New Mexico, west Texas, and Arizona racing for regional and national points and for the first time, the $10,000 to win Winter Meltdown will be apart of that national points battle.

With nearly 100 teams expected to make the trip to the desert southwest for their chance at a share of the $65,000 purse, the 3rd annual Chub Daniels Memorial and Winter Meltdown is sure to be among the most exciting shows of the year.
