A battle in Eastern Ontario is on tap this weekend, as the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series prepares for its final points-paying event of 2026.
The top 358 Modified drivers in the Northeast head to Brockville Ontario Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 17, for the second night of Fall Nationals. This year’s visit will feature the Chico Dingwall Memorial, a 96-lap Feature paying $10,096-to-win (CAN). Lap money will also be paid out to various positions in the field.
Joining the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds are the track’s Mini Stock, Street Stock, and Vintage divisions.
How do you buy tickets to Fall Nationals? You can buy them at the gate.

Here’s a look at what to watch for at Brockville:
King Mat the Third: By signing in to race on Saturday at Brockville, Mat Williamson will officially be crowned the 2026 DIRTcar 358 Modified Series champion for the third time.
However, that doesn’t mean he won’t push to earn one more Series victory. Last year, the St. Catharines, ON driver passed Felix Roy with eight laps to go to become the third driver to sweep the Fall Nationals weekend, after winning the Super DIRTcar Series race the night before.
“Money Mat” has earned five straight Series podiums at Brockville, including two victories. If he wins on Saturday, it’ll be his sixth Series win of the season and 26th of his career.
A Smooth Second: While Mike Mahaney will finish second in this year’s standings, the Elizabethtown, NY driver is aiming to finish the season off on a high note.
“Smooth Shoe” has shown recent consistency at the track, finishing fifth during last year’s DIRTcar 358 Modified Series stop, along with three straight Super DIRTcar Series top 10s.
Mahaney is chasing his second Series win of the season and second Brockville win of his career. He won a 360 Sprint Car race there in 2018. A win this weekend will be his fourth career Series triumph.
Taking on Brockville’s Best: After waiting until the end of the season, Brockville’s top 358 Modified stars get the chance to defend home turf this weekend against the Series regulars.
That starts with track champion Chris Raabe, who earned four victories, nine top fives and 13 top 10s in 13 starts. The Alexandria, ON driver and 2016 Series champion is aiming for his sixth career DIRTcar 358 Modified Series victory and second at Brockville. He won the Fall Nationals Feature in 2022.
Another driver with four victories throughout the season was Tristan Draper, who won Fall Nationals in 2024. The Harrowsmith, ON driver added eight top fives and 12 top 10s in 13 starts, enough for third in the track’s final standings.
Finishing just ahead of him in the standings was Bobby Herrington, who’s been successful in both the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds and DIRTcar Sportsman. The Elgin, ON driver had a win, 12 top fives, and 13 top 10s at Brockville this season. Herrington finished 14th in his lone 358 Series start last season but won the DIRTcar Sportsman Series portion of Fall Nationals in 2024.
