World Racing Group officials and the entire DIRTcar Racing Northeast community extend their deepest sympathies to the family of Big-Block Modified car owner Jeff Brownell Sr., whose mother Betty Jane Brownell passed away Thursday evening, June 3, at the age of 79.
Jeff, who recently received the Gene DeWitt Outstanding Car Owner award at the Northeast Modified Hall of Fame induction ceremonies on the Cayuga County Fairgrounds over Memorial Day Weekend, owns the Xtreme Lubricants team cars driven by Super DIRTcar Series points leader Matt Sheppard (#9S) and his son Jeff Brownell Jr. (#29).
Calling hours are scheduled on Monday, June 7 at Coe Genung Funeral Home (315/539-2931), 46 West Main Street – Waterloo, New York 13165 from 4-7 p.m., with services held at Coe Genung the following day at 11 a.m.
