Hoosier Racing Tire Weekly Championship Update Monday, July 19
Canada stayed drier than much of the Northeast and they were able to get some superb DIRTcar Racing action in at Granby, Cornwall, and Drummond. With some US/Canada border lifting restrictions on the horizon, drivers and fans will soon see combined races once again and the anticipation couldn’t be greater.
Matt Sheppard has stretched out his lead in Big Blocks over Peter Britten. Marc Johnson and Billy Decker are tied while Erick Rudolph is on his way up the standings.
Billy Dunn, Lanx Willix, and Jordan McCreadie can be found racing weekly at Can-Am Speedway and Thunder Mountain Speedway in their DIRTcar 358 Modifieds. The trio leads the points over Mat Williamson and Erick Rudolph.
Andrew Buff, who has been strong in DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series competition, top the highly competitive Sportsman standings.
Chad Jeseo leads the DIRTcar Pro Stocks over Jason Meltz, and this week’s Can-Am Speedway winner Scott Townslee.
