Despite windy conditions, over 73 cars took advantage of Practice Day at The New Lincoln Speedway. The warm sunny day also brought several people out to the grandstands to watch. There were several Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Models, Wild Things, Winged Sprints, 600 Mini Sprints, as well E-Mods and Kid’s Mods. Promoter, Norm Horn, groomed the track, as it was in excellent condition for the racers to practice. Dealing with winds like we experienced over the weekend, it makes it tough to keep the track from “rubbering up”, but Norm and other volunteers did a fantastic job. Marty Spear, Race Director, kept things moving right along getting the different classes on the track throughout the afternoon. Racing action will begin THIS Friday night, April 8th. Come out and experience the NEW Lincoln Speedway, where they are Putting the Fun Back In Racing. A fun family evening, or a night out with the friends, either way The New Lincoln Speedway invites you out to opening night. Competitive racing action in all classes promises for thrilling and must see racing action. Admission to the grandstands is $10 for Adults, Kids 12 and under FREE, pit passes are $25. Gates open at 3pm, with hot laps at 6:30, racing at 7:00pm. The New Lincoln Speedway: Putting the FUN Back in Racing!
